Sim-Av Foundation
Mission Statement
The mission of the Sim-AV Foundation is to provide simulators, technical support, and curricula to make high-tech audio and video equipment available for all students.
Closing the Gap Program
The Sim-AV Foundation has initiated the Closing the Gap Program to address:
- The ability of simulators to close the gap between theory and practice, and
- The ability of simulators to close the gap between education available in high-resource versus low-resource universities.
The Closing the Gap initiative produces curricula for audio and video technology education, and donates simulators to universities that otherwise would not be able to provide their students with such equipment and education.
